“You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people’s initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.”
-Abraham Lincoln
HER STORY
We live in a world that exploits countless women and children, and it’s no wonder many suffer from no or low self-confidence, no self-worth and have no value.
Part of what drives Terri is her very own testimony, is what she has to say
“I was once one of those girls growing up with insecurities and loneliness, and I made life-altering choices that I later came to regret.
As a result, I have committed the past 25 years of my life to help others around the world reach their full potential (what am I supposed to do with my life?) and live a life that was intended for them, to empower, equip and release them into their God-given destiny! I placed my worth and value on what others thought about me instead of understanding that I was unique and that I was already enough! (How do I allow God’s light to shine through me?)
Today, I have so much more value and worth without measure.
I turned her back on fame and fortune to pursue my God-given destiny! My quest is everyone move from brokenness to wholeness, with a passion for releasing the “next generation” to continue his or her God-given purpose in ministry is what drives me!
I’ve learned how to “Be True to Myself.”
How does God see me? “Uniquely Me”
In all His Glory and Splendor as written in the logo and 7 colors of the rainbow rose, you too can discover who you are in this majestic splendor of soulful blend with the harmony of music and colors.
Excuse me! Your life is waiting – I am here to take you on the journey and help you Discover your destiny!
These lines below are what helped me on my journey; I knew that I had to do something to get to the next level and get out of the mediocre rut.
Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.

He took me from Brokenness to Wholeness
Mary’s Alabaster Box has been our theme song when we launched Women of Substance SA in 2007.
Jesus was in the home of Simon, the leper; a woman came to Him with an alabaster box, she poured the expensive perfume on His head. Matthew 26:6 & 7 of the Holy Bible New Testament.
She broke open the jar and poured it on Jesus’ head. Mark 14:3
When a sinful woman from that town learned that Jesus was dining there, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume. Luke 7:37
© FROM BROKENNESS TO WHOLENESS
What can compare to the infinite grace of our God? In Mark 14:3-5 we see Mary with her alabaster box which she breaks and pours the contents of oil/perfume on Jesus.
Through Judas’ complaint of the oil being more than a year’s wages, and the fact that it was pure spikenard. I, like Mary, came to Jesus with all that I had of value. In that moment of complete surrender. He can only heal that which we reveal. Trials and tribulations come to everyone, and at that moment, when it seems like no hope is when in our brokenness, then it allows what is inside of us, the precious oil begins to come out.
I’ve seen many who have beauty, fame, and money somehow this disappear when trials and tribulations come. It’s like their vessels have no precious oil on the inside. When broken, all that comes out is hatred, anger, bitterness, and rage!
There is a place within each one of us that can only be filled by the precious love of God! Being spendthrift is not going to fill the void, especially on things you don’t need, nor how much money you have, drugs you do, or partners you lay down with you will always feel a void!
NOW. Hope does not disappoint….
Now faith is the SUBSTANCE of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
